How Coding Jar was created from scratch in just 12 days!
Let me tell you the short Development story of Coding Jar!
How can a site (with an extra blog site) be created, including creating content, creating Social Media Accounts, Web Designing it and of course debugging it?
The truth is that the site has been created using a content management system platform, but if you want to provide an amazing user experience, then you have to get inside the code! </>
It’s obvious that a “beautiful” web site can’t be created in just 12 days. It’s not only the web design, but the content you must have before launching, the general layout of it, asking people “Do you like it?”, “Do you not like it?”, “What would you like to see?”. This kind of things need a lot of time!
Working from home isn’t perfect! You can easily lose track of time and end up eating lunch at at 19.00. You can’t imagine how many hours of work we put into it every day. It was a minimum of 16 hours per day for 10 days! And that’s just my side! Basil’s side, I think is a little worse! Basil has to work on his main job for 8 hours per day, then he has to come home and continue working on the Coding Jar and Quickiversity for at least 8 hours.
The development of such a concept isn’t what you usually see in photos and videos on instagram, facebook, etc. Developing for 16 hours per day is very tiring, and also creates stress, pressure and tensions between personal relationships!
It’s not that I only want to talk about the difficult times of development, but I want you to have the true image of how hard we are working to get a good result for you! The truth is, that apart from the difficulties, creating something that is your own, gives you the feeling of extra energy, self-confidence and much more! You don’t care how many hours you worked, and in the end you’re wondering “Did we develop this whole thing?”. Patience and persistence paid off and we can now introduce you to our “child”, Coding Jar!
Happy Coding!
Maria
