Fox Off
Today we bring to you a mighty Tussle. Both of them mighty foxes of the video game scene. One, is a ninja cyborg, the other is a fox knight! What brings them together however is the fact that they are BOTH Foxes.
Our daring canines will be judged based on the following categories
A) Difficulty in their games
B) Agility
C) Tenacity
D) Personality
So without further ado! Let the contestants enter the DEATH CAGE OF ULTIMATE TUSSLE! (Patent pending)
Kingsley
Kingsley is the protagonist of the game Kingsley's Adventure, a "kids" platformer for the Playstation 1. The game offers a basic but fun story, interesting levels and some tough as nails platforming. Fun graphics, good gameplay (for the era that is) and some great level design makes this game give the Zelda series a run for their money when it comes to platforming. But how will Kingsley fair in the ring? LETS FIND OUT!
Difficulty:
7/10: With extremely hard platforming that would be enough for a full on 10, unfortunately for Kingsley his game is not full of ONLY platforming. With locations easy to find, enemies that require no advanced techniques and are rather repetitive and unique and fun, but easy boss fights, the game scores well above average in difficulty.
Agility:
10/10: Kingsley manages to move around in intense platforming, under constant arrow fire, while wearing full metal armor and carrying a bunch of weapons. Now, I don't know if you guys are aware but neither armor, nor medieval weapons are exactly lightweight, so the fact that Kingsley manages to do so is only proof of how much of a paragon of Agility he is.
Tenacity:
5/10: Here is where Kingsley comes out as average. Sure, he persists throughout his quest, but ultimately he does not do anything out of the ordinary for someone of his stature. As a knight it is basically his job to defeat evil doers around the kingdom. Sure he pushes on and does not falter, but isn't that like the bare minimum of a knight?
Personality:
9/10: A lovable little fox who can not love him as he goes around on his quest, killing bad guys, learning things and off course saving the kingdom? UNLAWFUL HEATHENS THAT'S WHO! For them alone I subtract 1 rank, just so they are happy too in their ungodly ways.
Grey Fox
A cyber ninja unlike no other, his first appearance was in Metal Gear Solid for Playstation one, and instantly took place among the favorite characters of the Metal Gear Series. Deadly, swift, invisible and fiercely skilled, Grey Fox is a cyber ninja out for blood! But is this cyber ninja ready to contest with non-cyber Fox Knights? Lets find out!
Difficulty:
6/10: A stressful boss fight to say the least, Grey Fox has agility, speed and some very lethal attacks. That said however, as soon as you discover the "trick" to him, his boss fight turns out to be one of the easiest of fights in Metal Gear Solid. Emphasis however on the "as soon as". For this reason we grade this as an above average fight, but nothing to write home about.
Agility:
8/10: That's right, I ranked him with less than a perfect score, fight me. Why you ask? Well, because sure, -anyone- could be able to do all that amazing ninja stuff if they had a super extra exoskeleton that is built to not only assist, but enhance and aid in performing said activities. His skills beyond that however, earn him a solid 8/10 and that alone is a great score.
Tenacity:
10/10: Holy shit this guy though! He refuses to die like a cyber ninja cockroach! You defeat and semi kill him? he comes back as a cyber ninja, you defeat him? he comes back, he gets pummeled by a giant robot? he still fights until he has to be crushed just so there is 0 possibility he survives. Oh spoilers by the way. 10/10 most tenacious dude
Personality
10/10: Truly an amazing guy, Grey Fox is one of the most lovable semi-antagonists in the Metal Gear Solid game. Honorable, loyal and just so god damn brave, there is not one person who did not shed manly tears at his fate in the hands of Liquid Snake that sly son of a mo$%#$^......Anyway...yes, 10/10.
AND THE WINNER IS: KOJIMA!
HEAR ME OUT!
Considering how Kingsley is in fact clad in full metal armor, performs extremely hard platforming and seems to have a knack of leaving a trail of corpses behind him, we have all come to the conclusion that Grey Fox and Kingsley are in fact, the same person. The Adventure Game Kingsley's adventure is in fact what is going on in Grey Fox's head as he runs around murdering and platforming to avoid detection during the happenings of Metal Gear solid.
Don't believe us? Then you clearly have not played Kingsley's adventure of have seen our stream of Kingsley's adventure to realize it.
TUSSLE OUT!
