Finding a good title is just as hard: Clue(do) Board Game Madness

Clue
Or as it is known in the non-american places of the world, Cluedo, is a board game in which you play as the worst detectives/potential murderers in the history of the universe maybe ever. The goal is to basically just accuse people until you find out who is the murderer by sheer luck. It is as if Darth Vader and Luke, on that iconic scene where Darth Vader announces he is Luke's father, but instead it goes just like this
"Luke! I am your father?"
"Hmmm I dunno man, I have to admit that Obi Wan spent more time with my mother in the living room with the wrench"
Come to think of it, many movies would be way better if they followed the Clue(do) pattern of storytelling. Like having Luke show up to fight the Emperor only to realize that he was the emperor all along, when some random fella opens up the "Emperor's ID" secret envelope.
The Basics
Clue(do) is essentially a race against the other players, based on very basic deduction skills. The idea is that you will have to deduct the murderer, murder weapon and location of said murder, by going into the rooms and making your case.
At the start of the game, a set of cards enters a hidden file.
You dont have to be in the same area as your weapon and/or accused but you -have- to be in the room to make said accusation. When that happens, if any of the players has any "proof" in the form of cards on their hand, they have to discretely show you one of said cards that proves that your case is bogus.
Eventually you will end up with a pretty solid case. At any point of the game, if you make a case and nobody has any proof to show you, then you may choose to bust the case wide open and reveal the hidden file. If you are right, you won, if you are wrong, you lose.
Overall
Clue(do) is a simple game. Perhaps -too- simple for the more hardcore game board players. But its simplicity is also what makes it fun. With many variations as you can see to the left, the game is a standard family game.
Simple, fun and easy to take around you. Clue(do) is a gateway board game for other heavier hitters, like Dixit, Mysterium and other similar investigation games. My advice? Play the game, have some laughs.
In Conclusion
The game is downright fun to play, lets be honest. From the ridiculous names of your investigators/murder suspects, to the dramatic flair this game seems to bring out in everybody playing the game it is a board game guaranteed to give you some fun family time.
Hopefully, we will eventually get a movie spin off of this board game, considering the Battleship movie. Why? Because I feel that having various characters in a room, pointing at random people screaming accusations, before everyone just faffs off to another room, before they gather other people there to scream accusations at them is fun in my head.
Especially if we put characters from other franchises. Ripley, accusing the Alien of murder only to have Alien accuse Snape of murdering...I dunno, the Terminator or something.
Lets do this.
But yeah. Clue(do). Fun board game. If you have not played it yet then you must do so.
